The Lie is Dubya's Administration Policy
Dubya lied us into an imperialistic war and continues to lie about conditions in Iraq. The credibility of this administration is non-existent because the lie is administration policy. Mussolini defined fascism as the union of politics with corporations for their mutual benefit at the expense of the people. Americans cannot know the truth about Iraq because the fascist connection of this administration and corporate America’s news media creates their own truth for us to devour like pabulum.
Unimbedded journalist Dahr Jamail suggests three simple steps to end this senseless, illegal war:
1) We must immediately withdraw … completely;
2) We must pay reparation to the families of those killed and to those whose property has been destroyed; and
3) We must reopen the bidding on contacts to rebuild Iraq’s infrastructure with preference given to Iraqis.
If a civil war starts after our withdrawal, it will be an Iraqi civil war decided by Iraqis not American, who do the killing.
Americans allowed a neocon fascist regime to kill and destroy in Iraq; they must now balance the ledger.
Paying reparations is only moral – we destroyed Iraq but Dubya’s American corporate friends should not be the sole beneficiaries from rebuilding.
Dubya’s countless lies will out when he is indicted by the UN War Crimes Tribunal.
