Placer County District 5 Supervisor Bruce Kranz Should Not Be Reelected

Bruce Kranz never met a developer he did not serve nor an individual constituent he did not stiff. When he was running for Dictrict 5 Surpervisor, he listed on his flyer as supporters of his campaign Michelle Ollar-Burris and Wes Burris (Auburn). That support translated into Kranz appointing Michelle Ollar-Burris to the Placer County Planning Commission from which she was removed by a unanimous vote of the BOS including Kranz for questionable if not illegal transaction for her personal financial benefit.

Now Placer County is involved in legal proceedings with Ollar-Burris, which will cost the County hundreds of thousand of dollar. Kranz was eager to place a “friend” on the planning commission without the due diligence to examine her background. Because he appointed Ollar-Burris without proper ethical checks, the taxpayers in the County must pay for his laxness. Kranz does NOT deserve to be re-elected because he has violated the public trust.
