Americans Sit Fat and Happy

Americans ooze into their easy chairs, fat and happy.

Bush funnels hundreds of billions to bailout Wall Street while he leaves Main Street to boil in the juices Wall Street brewed for it by writing home loans deliberately designed to fail. Bush has turned the U.S. government into a World Multi-National Corporate Welfare Bank for the wealthy, financed by the U.S. taxpayer, while the people debate whether or not to legalize same-sex marriage or the proper way for the American Enterprise Institute to Swift Boat Obama. Billionaires can borrow billions at the new Fed Funds Rate of 2 1/2% while Main Street pays 7 % if it’s lucky enough to grovel and get a home loan from Wall Street.

Bush gives three trillion dollars of taxpayers’ money to the Corporate World to waste on a pointless war ($30,000 for each household in America) whose only known result is the loathing the world directs at the U.S

All the while, Americans sit lollygagging, fat and happy.
